As the leading partner of social housing operators, Nexity builds social housing for rent, participates in all initiatives facilitating access to ownership for low-income households and offers a range of themed solutions (student accommodation, housing for career starters, inclusive residences, intergenerational solutions and residences for seniors). Through Nexity Non Profit, its approach also extends to people for whom access to housing is a factor in social inclusion or access to employment.

INCLUSIVE LIVING SPACE
LA CHAUME : CENTRED ON PEOPLE
The La Chaume sheltered employment organisation (Esat – établissement et service d’aide par le travail) in Saint-Benoît in the Vienne department employs people with sensory impairments. The project, delivered by Nexity in 2021, is the first of its kind in France, combining an accommodation centre for adult workers and apartments for retirees previously employed by the organisation. The space was designed with them in mind, down to the small-est detail: handrails in shared spaces, contrasting colours to help distinguish doors and handles, and visual doorbells.
