City life means sharing space, habits and patterns of use. Combining housing, offices, amenities and places of study, the project promotes dialogue, movement, sharing and harmonised co-living around differentiated spaces. The Pavillon an adaptable hybrid space designed to serve as a vibrant rallying point at the centre of the neighbourhood plays a key role in this overall design, promoting mixed uses through its programme of activities.
Ground-floor spaces serve as buffers between busy public areas and residential clusters. They are designed to be actively focused on the social economy, in keeping with the programme of activities based in the Pavillon and in response to the needs of residents and students.
The occupation strategy for these ground-floor spaces has been developed in conjunction with Centsept, an organisation strongly committed to the social economy in the Lyon metropolitan area. The aim is to attract local projects to Confluence thanks to a variety of support solutions such as adjusted, tailored or step-up rents and coverage of fitting-out costs.
