Life Together is Nexity’s corporate purpose, reflected first and foremost in a shared culture that puts human capital and trust at the heart of our model and gives each and every employee freedom to act. Nexity’s employees really identify with the Group’s ambitions when it comes to responsible and sustainable performance and our commitment to social responsibility; 80% own shares in the company, and 81% say they are proud to work for Nexity and that their work has special meaning and is more than just a job. They strive to serve the public good not only through their work but also by taking part in initiatives run by the Nexity Foundation. Certified as a “Great Place to Work”, Nexity is committed to creating an inclusive working environ-ment where employees can flourish. Once again in 2021, it was among 418 companies worldwide (13 of them in France) selected for inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. To cushion the impact of the public health crisis on its employees’ purchasing power, Nexity decided to double the French Government’s €100 support payment for the lowest-income earners. Nearly 3,000 employees qualified for this additional support.
Nexity’s second headquarters in the Paris region – a showcase for the Group’s expertise in service delivery and environmental performance – the low-carbon, timber-frame NEW building provides welcoming workspaces fully equipped with digital technology and designed to cater for new ways of working.
In March 2021, Nexity launched its Les apprentis de l’immobilier (real estate apprenticeship) course at its apprentice training centre. Split into two streams, for property sales advisors and property developers, 29 young employees on apprenticeship contracts alternate between classroom learning and real-world experience with Nexity operational teams.
“Décembre Solidaire” means December is charity month! Each time a client reserves a new home or logs onto their personal online space, a donation is made to Secours populaire français, with no impact on the price of the service or property in question. Run by Nexity and its Foundation, the campaign, which is very popular with staff and clients alike and is backed up by book and toy collections at Nexity agencies, helped support 11,166 families.
